- Remove from heat, whisk in caster sugar, orange zest, large eggs, and egg yolks until smooth.

- Gradually add cubed unsalted butter, stirring until fully melted and incorporated.
- Continue to cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring until thickened and coats the back of a spoon.
