Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Return to low heat, stirring continuously for 2-3 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
  4. Gradually add cubed unsalted butter, stirring until fully melted and incorporated.
  5. Continue to cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring until thickened and coats the back of a spoon.
  6. Strain the orange curd through a fine-mesh sieve into a heatproof bowl to remove solids.
  7. Let it cool at room temperature for 15 minutes, then transfer to sterilized jars for storage.
