Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the frozen tater tots on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dry minced onion. Shape into small patties slightly larger than the tater tots.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and juicy.
  4. After flipping, place a small square of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover for 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese.
  5. Assemble bites by placing a tater tot on a platter, adding ketchup, a beef patty, a dill pickle chip, and another tater tot. Secure with a toothpick.
