Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Crumble the polenta into a 9x9 casserole dish and press it into an even layer.
  2. Bake the polenta in the preheated oven for 15 minutes until slightly set.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes until browned. Add taco seasoning, black beans, and diced green chilis, stirring until well combined.
  4. Remove the baked polenta from the oven and spread the beef mixture over it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef mixture.
  6. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Cut into squares and enjoy with fresh toppings.
