Step-by-Step Instructions for Sausage Baked Brie
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a sauté pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the pork sausage, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook for about 6-8 minutes until browned.
  3. Stir in 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, ½ cup of chopped walnuts, and 1 tablespoon of fresh rosemary. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  4. Score the top of the brie in a crisscross pattern. Place it in a baking dish.
  5. Spoon the sausage mixture generously over the brie. Bake for 16-18 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes before serving with warm crostini.
