Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. While the hibiscus mixture is simmering, grab a separate pitcher and mix 1 liter of cool water with 1 cup of granulated sugar. Stir vigorously until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  3. Once the hibiscus tea has simmered for 15 minutes, remove the pot from heat and let it cool for about 30 minutes. Strain the hibiscus petals using a fine mesh sieve into a bowl or pitcher.
