Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface to about a 1/4-inch thickness.
  3. Mix the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and ground cloves in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Spread the pumpkin mixture over one half of the pastry, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
  5. Fold the other half of the pastry over the filling and seal the edges well.
  6. Cut the sealed pastry into 1-inch wide strips.
  7. Twist each strip into spirals and place them on the baking sheet.
  8. Brush the tops of the twists with the egg wash.
  9. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed up.
  10. Cool on a wire rack and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
