  • 8 oz Passover Noodles Be careful not to overcook.
For Greasing
  • 2 tbsp Butter or Olive Oil Olive oil is a lighter alternative.

Equipment

  • large pot
  • mixing bowl
  • 9x13-inch baking dish
  • Spatula

Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once boiling, add the Passover noodles and cook for about 6–8 minutes, then drain and rinse under cold water to remove excess starch.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rinsed noodles with the defrosted broccoli cuts and mayonnaise. Stir gently until everything is well coated.
  3. Preheat your oven to 350°F (about 180°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or olive oil. Pour the noodle mixture into the prepared dish and spread evenly.
  4. Carefully place the kugel in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 40 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
  5. Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for about 5–10 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.
