Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Create a marinade with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, kosher salt, and black pepper. Coat the chicken thighs and marinate in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) for optimal crispiness.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and optionally place a wire rack on top for better air circulation.
  4. After marination, brush BBQ sauce on both sides of the chicken thighs and arrange them on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake the chicken thighs for 25-30 minutes, brushing more BBQ sauce halfway through.
  6. Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches 165°F (74°C).
