Preparation Steps

  6. Gradually add reduced Mountain Dew and sugar, mixing until creamy and fluffy.
  7. Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
  8. Pour the filling over the cooled crust, spreading evenly.
  9. Bake for 50-60 minutes, until edges are slightly puffed and center jiggles slightly.
  10. Let the cheesecake cool at room temperature for about an hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  11. Slice the cheesecake and garnish with additional crumbled Doritos or a citrus twist if desired.
