  • 1/4 cup shelled pistachios Can substitute with walnuts or almond slivers

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Ghraybeh
  1. Cream the ghee or butter in a stand mixer for 2 minutes.
  2. Gradually mix in powdered sugar, rose water, and orange blossom water.
  3. With the mixer on low, gradually add all-purpose flour until just combined.
  4. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  5. Shape the chilled dough into small balls and press a pistachio into each.
  6. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for about 15 minutes.
  7. Let the cookies cool completely on baking sheets before serving.
