Ingredients
  

For the Dough
  • 1/4 cup Butter Unsalted
  • 1 cup Milk Whole milk preferred
  • 4 cups Flour All-purpose or bread flour
  • 1/4 cup Sugar Can substitute with brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Vanilla Sugar Or pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 3 grams Fresh Yeast Or 1/2 packet of active dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup Pistachio Spread Creamy filling
For the Topping
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Pistachios Or chopped walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons Cream For brushing
For the Creamy Frosting
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Or mascarpone
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar Adjust based on sweetness preference
  • 1/2 cup White Chocolate Or dark chocolate
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Pistachios For garnish

Method
 

Steps
  1. Warm the butter and milk in a small saucepan until the butter melts.
  2. Combine flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl. Create a well and crumble in the yeast.
  3. Pour the lukewarm milk mixture into the well and mix with a wooden spoon until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough in the bowl for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Cover the bowl and let the dough rise until doubled in size (about 45 minutes).
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle about ½ inch thick.
  7. Spread pistachio spread on the dough and sprinkle chopped pistachios.
  8. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 12 equal pieces.
  9. Place cut rolls in a greased pan, cover, and let rise again for 30 minutes.
  10. Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F) and brush rolls with cream before baking.
  11. Bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
  12. Prepare the frosting by mixing cream cheese, powdered sugar, and pistachio spread until smooth.
  13. Frost the rolls and drizzle with melted white chocolate and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
  14. Serve warm and enjoy!
