- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a muffin tin by lining it with paper cupcake liners.
- Follow the instructions on the chocolate cake mix box to create the batter and fill each cupcake liner halfway.
- Press one Reese's Miniature Cup into the center of each partially filled cupcake liner.
- Bake the cupcakes for 16 minutes. Remove from the oven and cool for 10 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and peanut butter until smooth, then gradually add the confectioners' sugar. Adjust with milk if necessary.
- Frost the completely cooled cupcakes with the peanut butter frosting and sprinkle with chopped Reese's Miniature Cups on top.
