- Begin by placing semi-sweet chocolate chips in a small microwavable bowl. Microwave them on high for 30 seconds, then stir until the chocolate is completely smooth.
- Dip each maraschino cherry into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are completely covered. Place the chocolate-coated cherries on a parchment-lined plate and set them in the freezer for at least 10 minutes.
- Pour whole milk into a medium saucepan. Heat the milk over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally until steam starts to rise, but do not let it boil.
- Add two packets of Swiss Miss Milk Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix to each mug.
- Measure out 4 teaspoons of maraschino cherry juice for each mug and pour it over the cocoa mix.
- Slowly pour the steaming milk into each mug over the cocoa mix and cherry juice. Stir gently until everything is combined.
- Top with whipped cream and add the chocolate-covered cherries on top. Serve immediately.
