Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with waxed paper and sprinkling powdered sugar over the surface.
  2. In a stand mixer, beat together cream cheese, unsalted butter, and a pinch of salt until creamy and smooth.
  3. Gradually add sifted powdered sugar to the mixture and beat until fully integrated and thick.
  4. Add peppermint extract and vanilla extract and beat to blend flavors well.
  5. Divide the mixture into three bowls; color one with red food coloring and another with green.
  6. Scoop the colored mixtures onto the prepared baking sheet, forming uniform ball shapes.
  7. Gently press down on each candy ball with a fork to flatten slightly.
  8. Refrigerate the baking sheet for about 30 minutes to firm up the mints.
