Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously butter a loaf pan. Line with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Sift together all-purpose flour, matcha powder, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.
- Cream the softened butter with granulated and brown sugars until pale and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Scrape down the bowl as needed.
- Mix in vanilla extract until just combined.
- Gradually alternate adding the dry mixture and milk, mixing gently to avoid overworking the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top evenly.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and serve; optionally dust with powdered sugar or serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
