Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x11 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together 1 cup of softened butter and 1 cup of packed brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in 1 egg, 1 cup of peanut butter, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla, mixing until fully combined.
  4. Gradually incorporate 2 cups of all-purpose flour and fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.
  5. Press two-thirds of the cookie dough into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  6. Sprinkle 1 cup of chopped peanut butter cups over the cookie layer.
  7. Spread marshmallow fluff over the peanut butter cups to form a creamy layer.
  8. Top with remaining dough, pressing it down gently for even coverage.
  9. Bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool for 1 hour.
  10. Lift the bars out of the pan and cool completely before slicing into squares.
