  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper adjust for heat preference

  • ½ cup mayonnaise light mayo for lighter version

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage or coleslaw mix
  • 1 large avocado or guacamole as alternative

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Soak shrimp by marinating in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare dry coating by mixing flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Dredge shrimp in seasoned flour, dip in buttermilk, then roll in panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Fry shrimp in hot oil until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per batch.
  5. Make bang bang sauce by whisking together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha.
  6. Assemble tacos with tortillas, shredded cabbage, crispy shrimp, and drizzle with bang bang sauce; add avocado slices.
