Equipment

  • Kettle
  • Medium bowl
  • Mason jars or airtight containers

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by boiling water in a kettle until it reaches a rolling boil. In a medium bowl, steep one Earl Grey tea bag in 1 cup of the hot boiling water for about 3-5 minutes. Once brewed to your liking, remove and discard the tea bag.
  2. While the tea is still warm, add 2 tablespoons of pure honey to the bowl, stirring until fully dissolved. Next, incorporate 1 cup of rolled oats, followed by 1 cup of almond milk and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Whisk together until smooth.
  3. Spoon the mixture into two mason jars, leaving some space at the top. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  4. When ready to enjoy, stir the containers and adjust the consistency with more almond milk if needed. Optionally, add more honey.
  5. Before serving, top with a cookie or wafer for added crunch.
