Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Cut a ripe pineapple into quarters, remove the skin and core, then extract about 3 cups of fresh pineapple juice using a juicer or blender.
  2. Pour the fresh pineapple juice into a large pitcher. Add 1/4 cup of whole milk, 1/3 cup of heavy cream, and 1 tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Stir in 2 tablespoons of sugar, if desired.
  3. Add a few handfuls of ice cubes to the pitcher to chill the mixture. Stir gently to mix the ice.
  4. Slowly pour in 1 cup of cold sparkling water, stirring gently to maintain carbonation.
  5. Serve immediately in tall glasses filled with ice cubes, garnishing with coconut flakes and, if desired, a slice of fresh pineapple.
