  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Combine warm milk and active dry yeast in a large mixing bowl and allow to activate for 5 minutes.
  2. Mix in granulated sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Gradually add flour and salt until a soft dough forms.
  3. Incorporate blue gel food coloring and knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Transfer dough to a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled in size.
  5. Prepare the filling by mixing softened butter, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, crushed cookies, and mini chocolate chips.
  6. Roll dough into a rectangle, spread filling evenly, and roll tightly from the long side.
  7. Pinch seam to seal and slice into 12 equal rolls. Place in a greased baking dish to rise for another 30-45 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Beat together cream cheese and melted butter, then add powdered sugar and milk to achieve desired consistency for icing.
  10. Drizzle icing over warm cinnamon rolls and sprinkle with extra toppings if desired. Serve immediately.
