Preparation
  1. In a small saucepan, melt 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter over low heat. Stir in 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, a pinch of sea salt, and a dash of ground black pepper.
  2. Gently fold 1 cup of chopped cooked lobster meat into the warmed butter sauce for about 2–3 minutes.
  3. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of additional butter over medium heat. Toast the split-top hot dog buns until golden brown, roughly 2 minutes per side.
  4. Once toasted, fill each bun with the lobster mixture and sprinkle chopped fresh chives on top, if desired.
  5. Serve immediately with lemon wedges and drizzle with extra melted butter.
