Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Soak the raisins in warm water for 30 minutes to plump them up.
  2. In a mixing bowl, sift 3 cups of flour and add dry ingredients; whisk together.
  3. Gradually mix in lukewarm water until dough forms.
  4. Add butter cubes to dough one at a time, mixing until incorporated.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  6. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
  7. Roll dough into a rectangle, sprinkle cinnamon sugar and raisins, then roll tightly.
  8. Place dough seam-side down in a greased pan, cover and rise for 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  10. Brush dough with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar before baking.
  11. Bake loaf for about 45 minutes until golden and hollow when tapped.
  12. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
