Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start by heating whole milk to 110°F in a small saucepan; then combine it with active dry yeast and a pinch of granulated sugar in a mixing bowl. Stir gently and let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes, or until it foams up.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, kosher salt, granulated sugar, and ground Oreos until well combined. Then, pour in the foamy yeast mixture along with melted unsalted butter and large eggs. Mix until a dough forms, then knead for about 5 minutes on a floured surface until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Transfer the dough into a greased bowl and cover it with a clean kitchen towel. Place it in a warm area of your kitchen and let it rise until it doubles in size, which should take approximately 1 hour.
- While the dough is rising, prepare the filling by blending softened butter, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and cocoa powder in a medium bowl. Mix until creamy and smooth.
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down gently to release air and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangular shape measuring about 14x18 inches and 1/4 inch thick. Spread the prepared filling evenly across the surface of the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle the crushed Oreos over the filling.
- Carefully cut the rolled dough into 12 equal strips along the long side. Starting from one end of each strip, roll tightly to form a spiral shape, and place each roll seam-side down in a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
- Cover the baking pan with a kitchen towel and allow the shaped rolls to rise again in a warm place until they double in size, roughly about 1 hour.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Once the rolls have risen, pour heavy cream evenly over the top of them. Bake for 20-22 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
- While the rolls are baking, prepare the glaze by beating cream cheese, softened butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and crushed Oreos in a medium bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Once the rolls are baked, let them cool slightly in the pan before spreading the glaze generously on top. For added crunch, sprinkle more crushed Oreos over the warm rolls.

Notes
Apply the glaze while the rolls are still warm for better absorption and flavor.
