- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Gradually mix in warm water until a smooth dough forms, about 5 minutes of kneading.
- Gently punch down the dough and divide it into 8 pieces. Roll each piece into a 20-inch long rope, shape into a pretzel, and place on a baking sheet.
